- In <memo.257735@cix.compulink.co.uk>, you write:

- >Shift is ASCII 1, CTRL=^, ALT is ASCII 7, this is an established standard

- True, but there was more to the post than just what characters should
- be used. I think what order the characters should appear in was
- questioned.
-
- How about Control (left), Shift (middle), ALT (right), letter (last)?
-
- It looks nice on the screen even if ALL modifiers are used. (Though
- nobody in their right mind would use ALL modifiers.)
-
- While I'm thinking about this, how can we ensure that the program that
- changes keyboard shortcuts (by editing the resource strings) has enough
- room to do so? The programmer would have to leave room for the largest
- possible shortcut, right? Also (another question) what keys would be
- allowed in a shortcut? I'm not sure we would want to include keys like
- BKSP or DEL in keyboard shortcuts, but you never know. Comments?
